My new contribution to the English language: Technomasochism

techno•mas•och•ism (tek-no-ms-kzm)

1. The deriving of technological gratification, or the tendency to derive technological gratification, from being unskilled in or misusing technology.

2. The deriving of pleasure, or the tendency to derive pleasure, from causing and/or enduring technological problems.

3. A willingness or tendency to subject oneself to unpleasant or trying experiences, through the unintentional or intentional misuse of technology to the point at which it becomes inoperable or unusable.

Example: Billy is such a technomasochist that he fell for yet another phishing attempt and had his Yahoo account hacked for the seventeenth time this month.

Regardless of what happens before or after this moment…

…”Right now” is the one that matters and has the potential to be the point of creation of good memory that will last a lifetime.

What would some people trade…

…to be among the few souls standing alone, on a beach like this?

Me? I’d trade my iPhone, running, bacon and cake for it. Seriously.

El pueblo: Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico

Salvador Brau Asencio: Google him. He seems like he was a pretty cool guy.
